ShinAwiL's 'The Apprentice' Returns to our Screens

The competitive entrepreneurial show ‘The Apprentice’ returns once again with a new series that will have Bill Cullen, Jackie Lavin and Brian Purcell set tasks for a group of 14 aspiring businessmen and women with the ‘firing’ of a candidate every week.

The show, which won the Best Entertainment IFTA in 2009, is exec produced by Larry Bass. Linda McQuaid directs and is also the series producer. Piranha Bar are on board again this year to post the show, and the DP is Joe Edwards. Production manager of the series is Sheila Meaney.

There is a change to the format this year whereby the show will be followed by a live studio-audience panel discussion hosted by Brendan O’Connor. O’Connor will be joined by two celebrity guests and the main show’s latest fired candidate.

Last year’s winner was Brenda Shanahan who won a 12 month contract with Cullen's company, Renault Ireland.
‘The Apprentice’ followed by ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’ will start on Monday, September 21st at 9.00pm and 10.20pm respectively on TV3.
